The Arnprior Club once again held their Aero Tow this weekend.

Saturday was rained out but Sunday was a mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent risk of showers and the pilots made the most of their flying time until it rained at about 2:00 pm.

The tow plane was kept busy and everything ran like clockwork with pilots getting as much flight time as possible. All in all it was a great show in spite of the weather.

I wanted to see if anyone was flying this long weekend so I went to the Arnprior Radio Control Club and saw some nice flying at the club today.

There wasn't as many people there as I thought there might be, considering that the weather was good for once on a long weekend but there were some interesting airplanes there.

I also wanted to try making a 360 degree panoramic picture of the flying field so I will be trying out a few panoramic programs and will post a link to what I make from some pictures I took of the field later.

The Ottawa Remote Control Club had their Electric Fun Fly today and amazingly we didn't get any rain for once.

There were lots of different and interesting electric planes, helicopters and even an autogyro.

There were thrills and spills and a couple of crashes to entertain the audience for the whole show.

Once again Fred Zufelt of Dynamic Hobbies in Ottawa donated some great prizes for this event in support of the hobby. Thanks Fred and sorry about your jet, at least the fan motor found a new home.

The Arnprior Radio Control Club held their annual family fun fly today.

This was a one day event where anyone could bring what they liked and have some noncompetitive fun.

The weather was overcast and pilots were trying to get as many flights in as possible because the weather was beginning to deteriorate steadily as the morning went on and it ended up raining by 1:00 pm.
